Skaters, engineers, thrill-seekers, and speed-freaks come together in the small town of Signal Hill, California to take off down one of the steepest skate-able hills in the USA, hitting world-record speeds and giving personal safety barely a wink as they fly by. Local skater Jack Smith will be in attendance with the original “skate car” he raced in the late 1970s. Ticket sales benefit Morro Bay Recreation Department’s efforts in the bike park.
